Republic of Moldova digitalized 70 percent of public services: savings estimated at over 850 million lei in 2025
The Republic of Moldova has reached a rate of 70 percent of digitalized public services, meaning that 445 out of 636 public services can be accessed digitally. Specifically, for the business environment, the degree of digitalization has exceeded 80%, while for services intended for citizens it is already over 60%.
According to the e-Governance Agency (AGE), digital services are being used more and more. In the first six months of 2026, 71% of public service requests were submitted online, 7 percentage points more than in 2025. Thus, out of a total of 4.5 million requests registered in the period January–June 2026, 3.2 million, or 71 percent, were submitted online, while the number of those submitted at the counter reached 1.3 million.
AGE data show that in 2025 alone, the use of digital public services generated estimated savings of over 853 million lei, by reducing the time needed to access and deliver services.
“Beyond percentages, digitalization means less time wasted, fewer trips and lower costs for people and companies. All public services in the Republic of Moldova are available on EVO - evo.gov.md, the single government portal, where they are listed regardless of how they are provided: online, hybrid or at the counter,” AGE said.
Currently, 26 public institutions offer 100% of their services online, which represents over 43% of all public service providers in the country.
The Republic of Moldova has set the objective of achieving, by 2030, a rate of 100% of public services delivered online.
