
Romania places Moldova in list of countries with high epidemiological risk
Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- The Romanian health authorities have placed Moldova in the list of countries with high epidemiological risk. Thus, upon entering Romania, the citizens will stay in quarantine.
The National Committee for Public Health of Romania has published the updated list of countries that the Romanian state considers to be at high epidemiological risk. The Republic of Moldova, the United States of America, Hungary have been included again in the list of countries with high epidemiological risk, therefore citizens coming from these countries must be quarantined. The measure takes effect on 15 February.
Under the decisions by the National Committee for Public Health, upon entry into Romania, for people arriving from countries / areas / territories of high epidemiological risk and presenting a document confirming the negative result of an RT-PCR test, performed no later than 72 hours before boarding (for those traveling by means public transport) or entry into the national territory (for those traveling by their own means), the quarantine at home is set or at the declared location for a period of 10 days.
