Situation of Romanian-language schools in Transnistria discussed in parliament
Chisinau, July 2/MOLDPRES/- Situation of Romanian-language schools in the Transnistrian region was the topic of a round table attended by MPs and chairman of the commission for monitoring and parliamentary control over the implementation of the country's reintegration policy Roman Rosca.
Representatives of the educational institutions, the Ministry of Education and Research, the Reintegration Policy Bureau and the Ombudsman Office were also invited to the meeting.
The agenda of the discussions focused on the lack of premises for institutions teaching in Romanian, as well as the challenges of ensuring freedom of movement of persons and goods.
The event was organized by the Promo-LEX Association, financially supported by Soros Foundation Moldova and the National Endowment for Democracy.
