Moldova's champion in football qualifies for third preliminary tournaments of Champions League

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - Sheriff Tiraspol on 26 July evening defeated the team NK Maribor of Slovenia with the general score 1:0 and qualified for the third preliminary tournament of the Champions League.  
Thus, the Tiraspol team ensured at least its participation in the Europa Conference League groups.
Moldova’s champion will play in the third round with the team Viktoria Plzeň (Czech Republic). The first leg will take place on the Zimbru stadium on 2 August and the return away match is scheduled for 9 August, the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) said.
