Sheriff Tiraspol won match with Dinamo Zagreb
Chisinau, 18 August /MOLDPRES/- The champion of the Republic of Moldova, Sheriff Tiraspol, won yesterday the 3-0 round match with Dinamo Zagreb, from the play-off of the Champions League.
The match against the Croatian champion, Dinamo Zagreb, was played on its own field, in the Sheriff sports complex in Tiraspol. Tiraspol's forward, Adama Traore, managed to score twice, in the 45th and 80th minutes, and Dmitrios Kolovos scored at the beginning of the second half, in the 54th minute.
Romanian sports journalists pointed out that "the result is an even bigger surprise as Dinamo Zagreb has a lot listed at 131.8 million euros, a value 11 times higher than that of Sheriff's players".
The return match will be played on August 25, in Zagreb.
