Italian specialists to hold second edition of bakery courses in Southern Moldova
Chisinau, 22 May /MOLDPRES/- The South Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud) in partnership with an Italian company announced today that it is launching in Cimislia the second edition of the training programme in bakery-pastry field. Training will be free of charge within the master class offered by renowned professors from Provincia di Novara (Italy).
The second course can include several beneficiaries, including entrepreneurs from the southern districts, owning restaurants, mills, bakeries, pupils from vocational schools in the region etc. “All those who want to learn to bake bakery products by Italian recipes are welcome. The training is part of the project “Non Solo Pane", initiated and implemented in the South Development Region following a partnership between Green Projects and ADR Sud. The first edition was successful, so we considered it appropriate to offer the opportunity to learn something new and interesting for other business people or those who want to start a business in the field. Thus, we can increase the economic competitiveness in the southern area of the country by strengthening entrepreneurial and professional capacities,” ADR Sud director Maria Culesov said.
Green Projects director Claudio Li Calzi said that the idea of implementing the project comes from Italian entrepreneur Albino Irali. “At the age of retirement, he thought to convey his grace and the secret of making quality, tasty and healthy bread to other craftsmen,” he said.
The second course will last three weeks, starting from 4 June, and will take place in the centre of the Southern Region, Cimislia. The first course was held on 18 April-11 May, after which the graduates, trained by Italian entrepreneurs, got their professional qualification certificates approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
“I am very pleased to see a concrete example of collaboration between the Italian and Moldovan institutions and to achieve a synergy between the public and private sector in order to turn to good account the social and economic potential of the South Development Region and to boost its development and Moldova in general,” Italian Ambassador to Moldova Valeria Biagiotti said.
The project “Non Solo Pane” is part of the cooperation agreement, signed five years ago by the Southern Regional Development Agency and Provincia di Novara. Italian partners’ intention is to invest in human capital, forming highly skilled professionals for local and international employers.
