Around 400 local companies to attend Made in Moldova exhibition

Around 400 local companies will participate in Made in Moldova Exhibition, which will take place on 11–15 February at the Moldexpo Center in the capital. The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) under the patronage of the Government. Details about the latest preparations for organizing the event were provided by the CCI president, Sergiu Harea, in an interview given exclusively to MOLDPRES.

Sergiu Harea noted the increased interest of local companies in participating in the event, with over 800 applications submitted in total.

“Year 2026 marks the 23rd edition of the ‘Made in Moldova’ Exhibition – the largest exhibition of local products held in the Republic of Moldova. We have 2,800 square meters of exhibition space in two pavilions of the Moldexpo Center, and 300 square meters in outdoor areas. This year, there will be approximately 400 participating companies, although the number of applications exceeded 800. The vast majority are small and medium-sized enterprises,” emphasized Sergiu Harea.

The organizers estimate that the exhibition will be visited by at least 60,000 people, both from the country and from abroad. At this year’s edition, unlike previous years, there are two invited countries – strategic trade partners of the Republic of Moldova: Romania and Ukraine. For the first time, the exhibition will be connected to the global Enterprise Europe Network platform, allowing the organization of international B2B meetings and access to partners from over 60 countries, thus facilitating the expansion of Moldovan companies into foreign markets.

“The main priority of our activity and of the ‘Made in Moldova’ exhibition is to support and promote local producers. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue to do this in the future, because local businesses are developing, and exhibition activities are the best tool for promoting local products and services. I am sure that we will have positive results. Last year, following the exhibition, we had around 80 contracts signed between our producers and partners,” pointed out Sergiu Harea.

As part of the exhibition, a business forum will also be organized, with the participation of around 400 companies from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Latvia, Ukraine and Serbia. It will be held at the Palace of the Republic on 12 February and will also include bilateral meetings.

The official opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday, 11 February, starting at 12:00.
