Daniel Mititelu wins public competition for position of Moldova's National Energy Regulatory Agency

Daniel Mititelu is the winner of the competition for the position of director of the Board of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE), after the members of the parliamentary commission for economy, budget and finance has approved the results of the procedure.

More candidates took part in the public competition, of whom eight were admitted to the interview stage. Following the evaluations, Daniel Mititelu got the highest score and was declared winner.

Mititelu is an engineer specializing in oil and gas well drilling, with over 20 years of professional experience in the energy sector. Throughout his career, he has worked for companies in the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Kazakhstan, gaining relevant international experience.

According to the legislation, the ANRE Board is composed of five directors, who are appointed by the parliament with the vote of the majority of elected MPs.

The decision is to undergo the legal procedures required to finalize the appointment.
