Customs Service collected over 736 million lei last week

The Customs Service collected over 736.7 million lei last week. The money collected from taxpayers is paid directly into the state budget and redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development and social projects.

During this period, individuals brought in goods whose customs value exceeds the non-taxable limit, with payments of about 2.65 million lei collected, representing 3.6% of the total amount.

Also, last week 11,077 customs declarations were processed, and the flow of transport means amounted to 64,392 crossings. The most transited customs posts remain Leușeni and Sculeni, with 14,451 and 12,392 crossings, respectively.

Since the beginning of this year, the Customs Service has collected about 1.88 billion lei for the state budget.
