
Dozens of companies received grants from Government and European Union in April
Dozens of companies received grants offered by the Government and the European Union in April. In addition, thousands of jobs were supported through governmental support and development partnerships, according to the data of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA).
Thus, in April, 556 companies from Moldova benefited from electricity compensation totaling 24.5 million lei, related to consumption from January, February, and partially March. The financial support is offered by the state to reduce the burden of energy costs.
Also in April, through the First Home PLUS Program, 298 families received state guarantees totaling 222.8 million lei, allowing for the contraction of mortgage loans worth 375.7 million lei.
In the entrepreneurial segment, 64 companies received non-reimbursable funding totaling 15.4 million lei through programs managed by ODA. 20 businesses were supported through external funds, and 44 from the state budget.
Through the Credit Guarantee Fund, 41 entrepreneurs benefited from financial guarantees totaling 53.81 million lei. The support helped them obtain loans more easily for business development.
Under the Governmental Program 373, 50 entrepreneurs obtained loans totaling 161.46 million lei, intended for investment projects worth 220.12 million lei. The state compensated the interests of the credits for this program's beneficiaries, amounting to 4.57 million lei.
Also in April, through the FACEM line, a new beneficiary accessed a loan of 610,000 lei for a project worth over 700,000 lei, thus contributing to the modernization of economic activity.
