Moldova's Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture launches process of providing enterprises with compensation for energy
The Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) has initiated the making of payments under the Electricity Compensation Program for enterprises.
Accordingly, payment orders for 780 applications with a total value of 11.39 million lei are being processed. The approved financial resources will be distributed to 563 one-off beneficiaries.
In April, AIPA received from the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) the list of accepted applications for compensation, which were processed during February 21-April 24, 2025.
Entrepreneurs can benefit from a compensation of 50 per cent of the increase in the electricity tariff. The deadline for submitting applications for compensation is 30 days after the date of issuance of the invoice for electricity. Compensations will continue to be provided throughout the year.
The budget for the Programme of compensation of the increase in the price for electricity for enterprises of Moldova is 300 million lei. The programme is implemented by the government of Moldova, with the support of the European Union.
Applications for energy compensation can be submitted online by entrepreneurs through the EVO application or on the MCabinet portal, where a new module - compensations - is available. After submitting the application, applicants can check its status, from submission to approval and payment.
