Eugen Carpov's candidacy proposed for head of ANRE's Board of Directors

Eugen Carpov's candidacy will be proposed to the Parliament's plenary for the position of head of the Board of Directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE). A decision in this regard was made following a public contest organized by the parliamentary committee for economy, budget and finance.

Fourteen candidates were admitted to the contest, and during the interview phase, Eugen Carpov received the highest score. Eugen Carpov is a law graduate and has held the position of ANRE director since 2019.

The decision on the results of the public contest for selecting candidates for the chairmanship of ANRE Board of Directors will be submitted to the speaker and the legal committee on rules and immunities.

The ANRE Board of Directors consists of five directors. According to legislation, they are appointed by Parliament through a contest.
