The MOLDCONSTRUCT and MOLDENERGY exhibitions, titled Building a Sustainable Moldova!, were inaugurated at the Moldexpo International Exhibition Center today and will be open till April 6. The exhibitions bring together over 160 exhibitors from Moldova, Italy, Romania, and Ukraine, in a framework dedicated to innovations and current industry trends.

"The construction industry is quite dear to me. I've built houses from the ground up, carried out numerous repairs, and I'm very pleased that we have been hosting a traditional exhibition in this field for so long in Moldova. This event is important, serving as a unique platform for finding timely solutions in the sectors represented," said Zinaida Popa, acting general director of the Moldexpo Center, at the opening ceremony.

"In recent years, the government of Moldova has transformed the energy sector. We managed to increase the capacity of renewable energy sources eightfold in the last five years. We can highlight the progress made and the importance of continuous investments for diversifying sources and optimizing distribution networks," Carolina Novac noted.

Solomon Ioannou, a programme manager at the EU Delegation, appreciated these exhibitions, noting that they are "exactly what we need for a future EU member state". Ioannou emphasized the importance of energy efficiency, renovations and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, congratulating the organizers on a "very good start".

For the first time, the Real Estate Salon is included on the Moldexpo agenda, characterized by a variety of participants, with diverse offers at a balanced quality-price ratio. The exhibition provides industry specialists with unique opportunities to study demand, adjust offers, pinpoint strategies and clarify issues. Participation is not limited to the local market, with offers coming from Dubai, Romania, and other countries. The exhibition will feature not only companies or real estate agencies, but also developers in the construction field, banks, crediting and financing companies, as well as real estate insurance firms.

The highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of an artwork representing a throne made from 390 wrought iron swords. This symbolic installation, combining the tradition of ironworking with a vision for a sustainable future, was appreciated by all attendees.

In the spirit of the action, Building a Sustainable Moldova!, the event's distinguished guests applied their personal emblems on the map of Moldova, symbolizing a common commitment to the country's sustainable future.

Moldconstruct 2025, Moldenergy, and the Real Estate Salon expects visitors on the coming days, offering a rich platform for dialogue, collaboration and the discovery of the latest innovations in the represented fields.
