
Chisi9nau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/ - The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) approved lower gas tariffs today. Thus, the price of entrance in the natural gas transportation networks will be of 2,613 lei/1,000 cubic metres of gas, - by 12 per cent less than the one approved in 2018 and the price of exit will drop by 9.5 per cent.
At the today’s meeting, ANRE considered the request on approving the regulated prices of the biggest provided of natural gas from Moldova – Moldovagaz. Following the analysis, the Agency reconfirmed the existence of more factors which allowed changing the prices for natural gas supplied to end consumers.
Thus, the values of the regulated expenses of the provider, to which the fulfillment of the duty of public services was imposed, were adjusted according to the parameters of updating, provided for by the law, as follows: the consumer price index in Moldova for 2020 – 5.7 per cent, according to the updated forecast of the macro-economic indexes for 2018-2020; the annual average exchange rate of the national currency against the U.S. dollar used was of 17.37 lei for one dollar.
The ANRE Administrative Board approved the regulated prices for the supply of gas by the Moldovagaz stock company in the points: of entrance in the natural gas transport networks – 2,613 lei/1,000 cubic metres, by 12.1 less than the price approved in 2018; of exit from the natural gas transport networks – 2,895 lei/1,000 cubic metres, by 9.5 per cent lower; of exit from the high-pressure gas distribution networks – 3,910 lei/1,000 cubic meres, by 6.8 per cent less; of exit from the medium-pressure gas distribution networks – 4,018 lei/1,000 cubic metres, by 10.7 per vent less; of exit from the low-pressure natural gas distribution networks – 4,298 lei/1,000 cubic metres, by 12.2 less than the price approved in 2018.
