Loan agreement between Moldova, EBRD amended

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/- MPs ratified today the Amendment Agreement No2 to the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The amendments are technical, and the document was set up by the EBRD at the request of the Government to ensure the full implementation of the project. Ratification of the Agreement No2 was proposed to ensure by redistributing the financial means necessary to finance the rehabilitation works and the supervision services within the project.

The agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Bank for Reconstruction was signed in 2013 and provides for a loan of 150 million euros for road reconstruction and rehabilitation works.
