Moldovan economic development minister announces launch of EVO application
Chisinau, 6 June /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Dumitru Alaiba today informed about the launch of the EVO application – digital portfolio of acts.
„Starting from today, you can leave your identity act, driver’s licence, certificate of registration at home. All acts you need will be in your phone. After months of work, integration and testing, today we provide EVO to everybody. The digital portfolio of acts,’’ Dumitru Alaiba said at the Moldova Digital Summit, held in Chisinau.
The deputy PM noted that EVO was more than a mere application. ‘’It integrates and encompasses the best and most important public services we have. All of them in a single place – in your phone. In EVO, you find all data about you – fines, vehicles, real estate, crossings of the border, status of insured person, who is the family physician. This is just the beginning. EVO is just at the version 1. There will be more improvements, as the digital transformation is a process, not a destination,’’ the official said.
The access to EVO is simple and free of charge. Citizens need just the electronic signature. By accessing the website www.evo.gov.md or following the pages on the social media, each citizen can download the application for Android or iOS.
