
Moldovan information technology, communications minister elected head of Moldovagaz administrative board
Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/ - Information Technology and Communications Minister Vasile Botnari today was elected chairman of the Administrative Board of Moldovagaz joint stock company by unanimous vote of the stockholders.
The new chairperson, who will take over the office from Alexandru Gusev, was elected at a meeting of the Moldovagaz SA supervisory board. The latter brought for discussion more important issues on the work of the enterprise, among which the approval of the new composition of the administrative board.
Liudmila Korobanova, Nicolai Vasiliev and Iacov Cazacu were elected deputy chairpersons of the enterprise’s administrative board. Lidia Zamsa, Elena Tcaciuc, Vitalie Septefrati, Mihail Iuriev, Denis Emelianov are also members of the Board.
Vasile Botnari is 41 years old and has been information technology and communications minister starting from 20 January 2016. He has earlier acted as transports and roads infrastructure minister as of 31 May 2013 till July 2015 and was lawmaker in Moldova’s parliament beginning with 2010 till 2013. Botnari graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Business Administration Faculty.
