
Moldovan leu continues appreciating against main reference currencies
Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/ – The European single currency (EUR) cheapens by MDL 0.13 on 27 December and US dollar (USD) by MDL 0.06, according to official exchange rates presented by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.
Thus, EUR will cost MDL 19.58, and USD – MDL 17.20.
Also, the Romanian leu (RON) will get cheaper by MDL 0,03. Its official value will be MDL 04.21. And the Russian rouble (RUB) will depreciate MDL 0,01 and stop at the price of MDL 0.24.
More expensive will be only the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) on 27 December. Its cost will be MDL 0,63, with MDL 0.01 more expensive than today.
