Moldovan tax body collected 55 billion lei in 2022
Chisinau, 4 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Receipts to the National Public Budget, administered by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) amounted to 55 billion lei (2.75 billion euros) last year, which is an increase of 7.7 billion lei or by 16, 4% compared to the previous year.
According to SFS, 23.8 billion lei were collected to the state budget in 2022, which is 3.7 billion lei more compared to 2021, or an increase of 18.6%.
"The local budgets recorded receipts in the amount of approximately 5.9 billion lei, which is 752 million lei more than the previous year or 14.5%. Also, 18.9 billion lei were collected from the state social insurance budget in 2022, about 2.5 billion more than the previous year, with an increase of 15.0%," indicates the SFS.
At the same time, 6.3 billion lei were accumulated in the mandatory healthcare insurance funds, 776.9 million more than in 2021 or 14.0%.
