PHOTO // Moldovan state supports investments in production: over 3 million lei provided to company specialized in manufacturing construction materials
The first financing installment, worth 3,028,000 lei, today was approved and will be used to develop a production unit within the company Gido PARK, specialized in manufacturing construction materials. Minister of Economic Development and Digitization Eugen Osmochescu visited the company benefiting from state aid under the contract signed last year.
The production unit will be located outside the village of Ratus, in central Criuleni district. The company will produce prestressed prefabricated reinforced concrete elements meant for industrial and commercial construction, as well as roads’ infrastructure.
Deputy Prime Minister Eugen Osmochescu noted that the implementation of the project would help reduce dependence on imports by developing local production, create at least 40 new jobs and stimulate the economy by attracting investments and diversifying products.
“The government of Moldova supports investments that generate a real impact on the national economy and local communities, promoting sustainable development and increased competitiveness through concrete initiatives with direct benefits for citizens,” the deputy PM emphasized.
The total value of the investment project exceeds 72 million lei and is co-financed by the state at a rate of 60 per cent, which represents 43,645,064 lei. Approximately 11 million lei of this amount will be provided as grant and over 32.7 million lei will be offered through partial exemption from income tax payments.
