Foreign Affairs Ministry informs: envelopes with ballot papers sent to Moldovans from Canada
The Embassy of Moldova in Canada has informed that today it started the dispatch of ballot envelopes for Moldovan citizens who have preregistered to participate in the parliamentary elections due on September 28.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), Moldovans who prefer to vote in person will be able to do so at one of the polling stations that will be open in Canada on the election day.
According to the MAE, polling stations will operate in: Ottawa – 275 Slater St., suite 801, Montreal – 245 Boul. de la Concorde O., Laval, Montreal – 6767 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Toronto – 14-2900 Langstaff Rd, Concord, Calgary – 1991 Woodview Dr SW, Edmonton – 11474 Winterburn Rd NW, Vancouver – 20020 84 Ave B415, Langley Twp.
The authorities encourage Moldovan citizens from Canada to exercise their right to vote.
Citizens are expected to go to the polls on September 28 to elect their MPs.
