At the meeting, the reports and analyzes of the public institutions aimed at ensuring agri-food reserves and the supply of the internal market were heard, as well as the efficiency of the agri-food sector as a whole. In this context, the discussions focused on actions to be taken to:

Within four weeks, MAIA, ME and the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) will review food safety procedures to eliminate redundant elements in the certification process of food and food producers in the country and abroad.

The Competition Council will monitor the relevant markets and promptly investigate and sanction cases of abuse of a dominant position.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) and the Ministry of Finance (MF) will ensure the smooth flow of transport of raw materials and food at border crossings, including through better cooperation with neighboring countries.

Within three weeks, MAIA and ANSA will review the procedures for ensuring the market presence of refrigerated products.

Within two weeks, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (MMPS) and MAIA will establish the list of priority products and raw materials for the regulation of the internal market and exports.
