Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration has meeting with Secretary-General of Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Valeriu Chiveri today had a working meeting with Nikolaus Marschik, Secretary-General of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria. The official was accompanied by Austrian Ambassador to Moldova Stella Avallone.

The sides discussed the current situation in the Transnistrian region, the main challenges and developments, as well as the actions undertaken by Moldova’s authorities to gradually and sectorally reintegrate the eastern districts of the country into the single national spaces.

Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri highlighted the important role of the European Union in facilitating and strengthening reintegration policies and expressed gratitude for the consistent support provided by Austria to Moldova, including through various assistance and sustainable development projects.
