
Moldova and USA strengthen partnership for justice reform
Justice Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru welcomed Nick Pietrowicz, new chargé d'affaires ad interim of the United States in the Republic of Moldova.
The Justice official welcomed the American diplomat and wished him success in carrying out his mandate in Chisinau. During the meeting, Mihailov-Moraru reiterated the Ministry of Justice's commitment to continuing joint projects in justice, developed in partnership with the USA.
Nick Pietrowicz emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation and expressed the United States' readiness to strengthen relations with Moldova.
The Justice Minister highlighted the results achieved so far with American support, such as the modernization of courts and the advancement of the vetting process. These achievements contribute not only to the modernization of the justice system but also to the alignment with democratic values.
