Over 60,000 Moldovans with Romanian citizenship exercised their right to vote at Romania's presidential elections by 13:00. About 575,000 Romanians from abroad participated in the election in all by this time.
Romanian citizens of Moldova can exercise their right to vote at 64 polling stations, which are open between 7:00 and 21:00. Eighteen polling stations are organized in the northern region of the country, in the central region - 38 polling stations, of which 20 are in the Chisinau city and in the southern region - 8 polling stations.
To be able to vote in the presidential elections, citizens must present one of the following documents: identity card, electronic identity card, temporary identity card, identity bulletin, diplomatic passport, electronic diplomatic passport, service passport, electronic service passport, ordinary passport, electronic ordinary passport, temporary ordinary passport, military service card (for students in military schools).
As many as 965 polling stations were opened abroad for Romania’s presidential elections.
