Daniel Rotaru appointed as State Secretary of Government

Daniel Rotaru has been appointed as State Secretary of the Government. The government approved the decision today.

The proposal was presented by Secretary General of the Government Alexei Buzu.

“Daniel Rotaru will contribute to the development and implementation of policies in the field of diaspora. Together, we will implement a new governance regarding the digitization of the public sector. The new State Secretary will contribute to our effort to open the decision-making process, to consult much more widely our reform agenda with the private sector, the associative sector, citizens, and the diaspora,” said Alexei Buzu.

Also today, the Government decided on the appointment of Vadim Cemîrtan as Deputy Director General of the National Crisis Management Center.

“Vadim Cemîrtan will coordinate the Center's activity on four essential directions: prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery after crises. Through his activity, the Deputy Director will contribute to improving the mechanisms for protecting citizens and the efficient use of state resources in risk situations,” stated Alexei Buzu.

At the same time, the government approved the release of Andrei Chistol from the position of State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, based on his resignation request.
