Moldovan acting culture minister says it was honor, privilege for him to serve Moldova, Culture Ministry

Cristian Jardan has delivered a message at the end of his mandate as Culture Minister. He emphasized that it had been an honor and a privilege to serve Moldova and the Culture Ministry in the position he held in the cabinet led by Alexandru Munteanu.

Cristian Jardan thanked the team he worked with during his mandate. He also wished great success to his successor, Dan Suruceanu, who was proposed to head the Culture Ministry in the Tofan Government.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve Moldova and the Culture Ministry. I thank all those with whom I formed a team during this period. I gave everything I could. Good luck, Dan Suruceanu,” wrote Cristian Jardan.

Cristian Jardan has held the position of Culture Minister since November 2025.

The designated Prime Minister, Vasile Tofan, presented his entire governmental team, with which he will go to parliament on July 21, in order to request a vote of confidence from the MPs. It includes both new names and members of the previous government who will remain in office.

On July 21, the cabinet of ministers proposed by the candidate designated for the office of Prime Minister, Vasile Tofan, will request a vote of confidence from parliament.
