Moldovan Central Electoral Commission accredits 274 observers for parliamentary elections

Members of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) have approved changes to the applications on the registration of candidates for the MP position on behalf of the Political Party Our Party and the Alliance for the Union of Romanians Political Party, as well as accredited more observers.

At the same meeting, the CEC members changed the schedule for certification and specialization in the electoral field for the 2025 session, which will continue till September 26.

At the same time, the CEC accredited 148 people on behalf of the non-governmental organization, Union of Jurists of Moldova, and 126 - the non-governmental organization Promo-LEX, as well as two international experts from the Central Electoral Commission of Ukraine. The observers will conduct their activities according to the national legislation.

Also, CEC members rejected the request to organize voting over two days in certain polling stations in Ukraine, Israel, the Russian Federation, and in stations for voters from the left bank of the Dniester and the Tighina municipality.
