Over 646,000 people benefit from compensated medicines, medical devices in Moldova in 2025
Over 646,000 people have benefited from compensated medicines and medical devices this year, according to data by the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM), reports MOLDPRES.
The total value of state support amounts to 827 million lei, which translates to an average of over 1,000 lei per beneficiary, the government’s spokesperson, Daniel Voda, said today.
“The state constantly supports people's access to essential treatments and medical devices,” stated Daniel Voda.
Prescriptions for compensated medicines and medical devices are issued electronically through the state e-Prescription system, either by the family doctor or a specialist doctor.
