
Moldovan electoral body starts printing ballot papers for presidential elections, due to be distributed to Diaspora's polling stations
Chisinau, 14 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today started the printing of ballot papers for those 139 polling stations opened abroad.
According to the CEC’s press service, 556,000 ballot papers will be printed in all, of which 467,600 – in the Romanian language and 88,400 – in Russian.
The ballot papers will be printed on dark smoky gray paper and will have a length of 236 mm and a width of 140 mm.
The price of one ballot paper is 0.192 lei and thus, the overall value of the ballot papers printed for the polling stations opened outside Moldova is of 106,752 lei.
