Some fragments that may have come from a drone were found on land near the village of Colonița, Chișinău municipality.

Inspections were carried out after the police announced that, earlier this morning, several residents had reported via the 112 Emergency Service a loud bang heard in the southwestern area of the village of Colonița, in the direction of Tohatin.

Experts from the Police Technical and Explosive Section went to the site where the fragments that may have come from a drone were found. They are carrying out the necessary checks and examining the discovered fragments.

The area was secured, and the circumstances are to be established.

The police continue their checks to establish all the circumstances.

The police were notified this morning after several residents reported via the 112 Emergency Service a loud bang heard in the southwestern area of the village of Colonița, in the direction of Tohatin. The calls were received around 04:20. The crews dispatched to the scene carried out checks in the localities of Colonița and Humulești. Additional checks were also ordered in the localities of Dolinnoe and Maximovca to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
