Moldovan parliament considers over 70 drafts in last November

Lawmakers considered over 70 drafts, including six laws and 16 decisions, in last  November.

According to the Parliament's Communication and Public Relations Department, MPs assembled in November at three plenary sessions, during which they adopted 22 normative acts, voted in the first reading on 15 legislative initiatives, and 46 other drafts entered parliamentary procedure.

Among the most important decisions approved is the rectification of the state budget for the 2025 year, which provides for the redistribution of financial resources necessary to compensate for electricity and cover social payments. The deputies also voted to denounce the Agreement with the Russian Federation on the activity of cultural centers.

In the first reading, the legislative body adopted drafts aimed at improving public procurement legislation, adjusting the appointment procedure for the leadership of the National Bank of Moldova, and strengthening the legal framework for public property management.

Additionally, the parliament approved changes in the nominal composition of standing commissions and appointed new alternate members within them.

In parallel, parliamentary commissions convened at 26 meetings and approved 53 reports.
