Moldovan parliament speaker says Japan important partner for Moldova
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has expressed his appreciation to Japanese Ambassador to Moldova Yoichiro Yamada, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission. Grosu highlighted the diplomat’s contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and the constant support provided to the country.
“I sincerely thanked His Excellency, Ambassador of Japan Yoichiro Yamada. He is a person who loves Moldova and who has personally contributed to the flourishing of relations between our countries. Japan greatly assists us through projects and donations in such areas as healthcare, food and the energy sector, and is also a supporter of Moldova’s European path,” said Igor Grosu.
The parliament speaker noted that the Moldovan authorities would continue to make efforts, in order to capitalize on all opportunities for cooperation with Japan, while also expressing gratitude for the ambassador’s contribution to developing these partnerships.
“I wish His Excellency success in all future projects,” added Igor Grosu.
Ambassador Yoichiro Yamada started his mission in Moldova in December 2022, a period when the Moldovan-Japanese relations experienced positive dynamics, supported by numerous assistance and cooperation projects.
