Moldovan president says Moldova cannot trust regime leaving us in blackout, cold
Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/ - Russia has left Moldova in blackout. Russia’s war in Ukraine kills people; destroys with missiles apartment blocks and the energy infrastructure. President Maia Sandu has made statements to this effect after disconnections from power supply today were recorded in the wake of Russian bombardments against the Ukrainian energy system.
According to the official, the attacks in Ukraine continue. ‘’People get out their wounded from rubble and mourn for their close people dead. People’s life cannot be got back, but the delivery of electric energy can be reestablished. We will solve the technical problems and will have light against. All state’s institutions work to this end,’’ Maia Sandu wrote on a social network.
The president stressed that ‘’Moldova cannot trust a regime which leaves us in blackout and cold, which deliberately kills people, for the mere wish to keep other nations in poverty and submissiveness.’’ ‘’No matter how difficult would be now, our only road, Moldova’s way towards future must remain to the free world,’’ the official added.
Disconnections from power supply today were recorded in Moldova, in the wake of Russian bombardments against the energy system of Ukraine. The damage disconnections in the Moldovan electric energy system took place at 14:23. A similar situation occurred on 15 November, when there were also disconnections following Russia’s attacks against Ukraine.
