New MPs in faction of Moldova's Action and Solidarity Party: Roman Rosca, Victor Matraguna start work in parliament

The parliamentary faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) has two new parliament members. The seats will be taken by Roman Rosca and Victor Matraguna. Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu made statements to this effect at the beginning of the plenary meeting today.

The mandates became vacant after MPs Alexandr Trubca and Victoria Belous had resigned from their positions.

“The Constitutional Court on August 6 validated the mandates of the substitute candidates from the PAS list, Roman Rosca and Victor Matraguna. We welcome them to parliament and wish them much success in their work,” Igor Grosu said.

Roman Rosca has earlier held the position of lawmaker and later served as Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration. Subsequently, he held the position of Secretary of State at the Reintegration Policies Bureau.

Victor Matraguna is 41 years old, a lawyer by profession, and has served as head of the Orhei Territorial Office of the State Chancellery.
