
Parliament building lit up in colors of Israeli flag in solidarity with Israeli people
Chisinau, Oct. 12 /MOLDPRES/- Parliament building was lit up yesterday evening in the colors of the Israeli flag, as a sign of solidarity with the Israeli people.
"The Republic of Moldova stands in solidarity with Israel and the Israeli people and publicly condemns the terrorist acts of Hamas", Speaker Igor Grosu's message reads.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, after the establishment of the state of war on the entire territory of the State of Israel, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel communicated that it operates on alert, 24/7, providing only emergency consular services, such as issuing travel documents. Also, a crisis cell has been activated in Chisinau that monitors the security situation in Israel and is in permanent contact with the Embassy of our country and other responsible institutions.
Chisinau authorities appeal to Moldovan citizens in Israel to strictly follow the security instructions issued by the local authorities and urge them to register through this platform: https://shorturl.at/tvCR9.
