
Parliament to host 10th session of Parliamentary Assembly of Moldova and Poland
Parliament will host the 10th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland. The event will take place on 13 May starting at 10:00 am.
The session will be opened by co-heads of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland Doina Gherman and Marek Tomasz Hok. The meeting will focus on our country's European integration and the good practices of Poland on the European integration path. Another issue will address Moldovan-Polish bilateral relations and the assistance provided by the Republic of Poland in the development of the Republic of Moldova.
A joint Declaration of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland will be approved at the end of the session. Subsequently, Doina Gherman and Marek Tomasz Hok will hold press statements.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland was established on July 25, 2011, in Chișinău. It is an inter-parliamentary consultative body aimed to develop common viewpoints on issues and projects of bilateral interest.
