For his part, the leader of the Socialists, Igor Dodon, noted that the bloc had ruled to run in these elections not only to win, but also to restore people's faith in Moldova.
“What unites us is the love for our country and we want to mobilize patriotic feelings in as many citizens as possible, because we know: we can restore faith in our country, reconcile society, conquer poverty, support agriculture and protect businesses, efficiently manage education and healthcare. We believe in Moldova,” said Igor Dodon.
The former prime minister, leader of the Future of Moldova party, Vasile Tarlev, called on citizens to mobilize during this important time for the country.
“We love Moldova. We have one month for unity, mobilization and victory. Today, the country is in your hands. I believe in the future of Moldova,” specified Vasile Tarlev.
Irina Vlah, the former bashkan (governor) of Gagauzia and leader of the Heart of Moldova formation, said that the bloc's aim was to restore people's hope.
