Prime Minister to meet with Moldovans residing in Belgium and Luxembourg

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu will have a discussion today in Brussels with citizens of the Republic of Moldova residing in Belgium and Luxembourg.

"Dear citizens residing in Belgium and Luxembourg, I invite you to have a discussion on Tuesday, November 18, starting at 7:00 PM (local time). I look forward to seeing you!" announced Alexandru Munteanu.

According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Belgium and Luxembourg, the meeting will take place on 18 November 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall of the Saint-Gilles commune. Address: Brussels, Pl. Maurice van Meenen 39, 1060 Saint-Gilles.

The meeting occurs in the context of Prime Minister Munteanu's visit to Brussels. The agenda of the visit includes meetings with the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, and the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos.

The discussions will focus on the reform agenda and necessary actions for advancing the Republic of Moldova on its European path, announced the Government's Communication Department.

Munteanu will participate in the European Enlargement Forum, taking place on November 18, under the slogan "By enlarging the Union, we secure our future." The Prime Minister will deliver a speech at the European Business Summit, marking its 25th anniversary. The event will provide a dialogue platform to identify the necessary solutions for the European Union to remain resilient, innovative, and competitive globally, in the context of the geopolitical situation.
