Deputy Prime Minister discussed bilateral cooperation with officials from Romania and Ukraine in Chisinau

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi held bilateral meetings today with Ana Tinca, State Secretary for Strategic Affairs in the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Olexandr Mischenko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The discussions took place in Chișinău, in the context of Moldova Security Forum.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the dialogue with Ana Tinca, the Moldovan official addressed the strengthening of the strategic partnership with Romania, Bucharest's constant support for Moldova's European path, cooperation in security and combating hybrid threats, as well as prospects for attracting investments and expanding joint development projects.

The meeting with Olexandr Mischenko focused on the security situation in Ukraine and the regional impact of Russian aggression. Additionally, Chișinău's firm support for Kyiv was discussed, as well as advancing bilateral and trilateral cooperation, including within Odessa Triangle format.

'In a complicated regional context, only together with Romania and Ukraine can we advance decisively on European integration,' declared Popșoi.

Moldova Security Forum brings together officials, experts and international partners for discussions on security developments in the region and common solutions for strengthening the resilience of Eastern European states.
