PHOTO // Romanian Senate president says Romania to continue to stand by Moldova
Romania stays the most constant and strongest supporter of Moldova. We will continue to stand by Chișinău at every stage of European integration, because the European future of Moldova is also our common future. Romanian Senate President Mircea Abrudean today made statements to this effect, who had a meeting with Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, on a visit to Bucharest.
The two officials discussed bilateral cooperation, Romania's support for the European path of Moldova, as well as joint projects in the economic, energy and security fields.
‘’The fact that Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu's first official visit is to Romania is proof of the solid partnership between our countries. Today's discussion was warm and friendly, as dialogues between Bucharest and Chișinău always are,’’ Mircea Abrudean stressed.
Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu pays an official visit to Bucharest today, this being his first foreign visit since taking office. Today morning, Prime Minister Munteanu was received by the President of Romania, Nicusor Dan at the Cotroceni Palace. Later, Alexandru Munteanu went to Victoria Palace, where he was received by his counterpart Ilie Bolojan.
