Roman Roșca to take over vacant MP mandate following Alexandru Trubca’s resignation
Roman Roșca is set to take over the vacant mandate of member of Parliament following the resignation of Alexandru Trubca. The clarification was made today by Speaker Igor Grosu.
He also referred to the resignation of Alexandru Trubca, which he described as “a correct decision.”
“On Thursday I had a discussion with him on this subject. On Friday, discussions followed within the party and within the parliamentary faction. As a result of these talks, he made this decision. I considered it a correct decision for him, for the party, and also for the citizens,” Igor Grosu underlined.
The MP from the Party of Action and Solidarity, Alexandru Trubca, announced yesterday that he had submitted his resignation from the mandate. He explained that the issue related to his economic activity was affecting the image and credibility of the party to which he belongs. Alexandru Trubca also specified that he will remain a member of the party and will continue his political activity within the formation.
Roman Roșca previously held the position of member of Parliament and that of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, being responsible for coordinating policies regarding the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict and the reintegration of the country.
