US reaffirms support for justice in Moldova

The strengthening of the partnership between the United States and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova was discussed during a meeting between Minister of Justice Vladislav Cojuhari and US Chargé d'Affaires in the Republic of Moldova Nick Pietrowicz.

The meeting focused on the United States' ongoing commitment to supporting Moldova's efforts to enhance the efficiency and accountability of its justice system. Officials discussed measures to strengthen institutional capacities, promote transparency, and implement international best practices in the judicial field.

As part of the collaboration, the two countries are also cooperating in combating transnational crime, thereby contributing to the security and stability of both states. The partnership also includes technical and advisory support for projects aimed at strengthening the rule of law and protecting citizens' rights.

The meeting reflects the continuance of strategic cooperation between the United States and the Republic of Moldova in the areas of justice and security, marking an important step in building an effective and accountable judicial system.
