The authorities are working intensively to turn the partnership between and the United State into one that is beneficial for both sides and focused on concrete results for the citizens. Ambassador to the USA Vladislav Kulminski has made statements to this effect, who presented the latest developments in the relations between the two countries.

The official noted that the meeting between President Maia Sandu and Senator Marco Rubio at the Munich Conference had once again underlined the strategic nature of the bilateral relations between Moldova and the USA.

At the same time, according to the Ambassador, the relationship with the United States in the energy sector was a strategic one, and it is reflected, among other things, in major infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the Straseni–Gutinas power line.

Vladislav Kulminski also referred to last week’s visit to Chisinau by a delegation of the U.S. Congress.

“During this visit, discussions focused on how the funds allocated for Moldova in the United States’ federal budget for 2026 will be used,” the official stressed.

At the same time, Vladislav Kulminski announced that, in next March, Deputy Prime Minister Eugeniu, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Eugeniu Osmochescu will go to Washington, D.C. for talks on tariff policy and economic cooperation.

The ambassador also said that, on the coming period, he would pay visits to more U.S. states to establish economic ties and open up business opportunities.

‘’We continue to build bridges between our countries and to seize every opportunity to ensure a prosperous and secure future for Moldova,” Vladislav Kulminski concluded.
