VIDEO // Moldovan delegation left for Bucharest

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu starts his first visit since assuming the role of head of the Cabinet. The Premier and the government team departed in the early hours towards Bucharest, where several meetings with Romanian officials are scheduled. Before leaving the Republic of Moldova, Munteanu posted a video message on social networks.

“We are heading with our colleagues to meet our peers in Romania, supporters of our European path. We have many projects to discuss. Together, we do great things for the citizens on both sides of the Prut River. We are very pleased that our first official visit is to Bucharest,” stated Alexandru Munteanu in the morning from Chisinau International Airport.

 

Strengthening cooperation relations with Romania and identifying new goals for joint projects will be addressed during Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu’s visit to Bucharest, which takes place on Thursday, November 13.

According to the visit agenda, the Prime Minister will meet with the President of Romania, Nicusor Dan. At the Victoria Palace, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu will meet with his counterpart, Ilie Bolojan. The two prime ministers will discuss topics on the bilateral agenda, with a focus on projects of common interest, which have a direct impact on the citizens of both countries. In Bucharest, Alexandru Munteanu and Ilie Bolojan will make press statements.

The official will hold discussions with officials from the Romanian Parliament and will have a meeting with Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, and His Royal Highness Radu, the Prince Consort of Romania.
