
Anti-COVID-19 vaccination marathon continues in Moldova today
Chisinau, 23 May /MOLDPRES/ - Citizens may be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines at the vaccination marathon, From Student to Student, today too. The event is organized by the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF).
According to information provided by USMF, the stock of Pfizer was exhausted at 4:15 in the morning and this vaccine is no longer available today.
A number of 884 people got vaccinated between 21:00 and 8:00, of whom 750 – with Pfizer, 92 – with AstraZeneca and 42 with Sinopharm.
As many as 2,028 people were immunized on 22 May, of whom 1,750 – with Pfizer, 203 with AstraZeneca and 75 with Sinopharm.
A number of 3,527 people have been immunized since the starting of the marathon.
The Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy on 21 May at 15:00 started the marathon of vaccination against COVID-19 titled, from Student to Student. The immunization is carried out non-stop and will last till 21:00 today. USMF will ensure the administering of the second dose too. On 11-13 June, people will be vaccinated with Pfizer and Sinopharm and on 16-18 July – with the AstraZeneca vaccine.
