
As many as 1,662 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 7,622 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,662 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Twelve out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 334,287 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 30 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (4 physicians, 17 medical assistants, 9 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 2,764 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 250 are in extremely serious condition and 28 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 9,995 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,966 are under supervision at home.
Another 1,512 people have been treated. As many as 311,818 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 46 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 7,665 people have died of coronavirus in all.
