Chisinau Municipal Council accepts financial donation of mayoralty of Bucharest's district 6

Chisinau, 4 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) today approved the acceptance of a donation worth 846,000 euros on behalf of the mayoralty of Bucharest’s district 6, for works of rehabilitation of the Alunelul Park from Chisinau’s Buiucani district.

The Buiucani district’s praetor, Vadim Brinzaniuc, informed the councilors that the partnership agreement between the sides had been signed in December 2019. At the same time, the local council of the mayoralty of Bucharest’s district 6 last week approved the allocation of these financial resources to the Buiucani Praetor’s Office, on the purpose of Alunelul Park’s restoration.

The rehabilitation of the public space provides for the construction of an artesian well, installation of night decorative illumination, as well as of the system of turf’s irrigation, arranging of an open air theatre, playgrounds and sports ground, as well as of urban furniture.

The overall value of the project on reconstruction of the Buiucani-based park is of 948,000 euros; the rest of the sum is allocated from the municipal budget.
