DOC // Education Ministry to be responsible for drafting financial regulations for youth activities
The Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) will be responsible for drafting the financial regulations for the implementation of youth activities. The amendments made to the Youth Law were published today in the Official Journal.
The document proposes supplementing the responsibilities of the National Agency for the Development of Youth Programs and Activities with the authority to organize project competitions for youth organizations.
Another provision of the draft concerns the strengthening of the regulatory framework on public finances intended for youth activities, including through the approval by the Government of the Regulation on the manner of using state budget funds for carrying out youth activities, drafted by the MEC.
The law enters into force upon the expiry of three months from the date of its publication in the Official Journal. Within three months from the date of publication of this law, the MEC will draft and submit to the Government for approval the financial regulations for the implementation of youth activities.
