Environmental Protection Inspectorate to have new head
Environmental Protection Inspectorate will have a new head. The position will be filled by Dorin Poverjuc. The announcement was made by Minister of Environment Gheorghe Hajder, who stated that he will propose the candidacy for approval at today's cabinet meeting.
“Dorin Poverjuc will take over the role of head of the Environmental Protection Inspectorate, with the mandate to strengthen the institution's control capacity and ensure the implementation of the proposed reform,” stated Hajder.
The position of head of the EPI recently became vacant after the former director, Ion Bulmaga, submitted his resignation.
Meanwhile, the minister also announced that he will propose Victoria Gratii for appointment as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Environment.
Victoria Gratii currently holds the position of department head within the ministry, “distinguishing herself as one of the most effective leaders,” noted Gheorghe Hajder.
